Toys for Kids
The best toys for kids will depend on what they're interested in and their age. As a stay at home Mom to 2 boys (aged 3 and 7) and an auntie to lots of nieces and nephews (we have a huge family), I spend a lot of my days playing with toys and watching kids play with their toys. My hope is this website will cover a lot of the best toys we have played with and will act as a guide to people who are not sure what toys to buy but are looking for something good.
There are currently just a few articles but I hope you find these of value. Be sure to come back to see more.

Check out some of awesome toy ideas for 3 year old boys.
These are based on toys my boys played with at age 3. At the time of writing my youngest son is age 3, so there are a lot of current toys we play with at home, at friends and family's houses and at toddler groups and play groups. Ideas include race tracks, cars, toys for imaginative play, game, train sets and more. |
One of the best outdoor toys you can get for young children is an outdoor playhouse.
There are great for imaginative play and shading kids from the sun and other weather elements. They are also great for giving kids their own space. The article opposite gives lots of tips on what to look for when buying an outdoor playhouse for toddlers as well as some specific suggestions of some playhouses. |
Another huge gift for adults and now kids this year is activity bands.
We are all moving less and sitting more throughout the day which is dangerous for our health. Activity bands will help encourage and motivate us to move more. Leapfrog has designed an activity band to get kids aged from around 4 to 8 moving and having fun. |
